Soon a nonstop picture channel managed by the Kerala Film Producers Association can enter the tv air house. a gathering of the producers command here on weekday determined to launch the channel inside 3 months.

The decision came once recreation tv channels refused to shop for satellite rights of flicks citing poor quality and high rates for the rights, particularly those with superstars in lead roles. several producers were left within the lurch by the stance.

“We have one hundred thirty films in our kitty to begin the 24X7 channel. The satellite rights of most of those movies couldn't be sold  as a result of the stance taken by the recreation channels. we are going to not be at these channels’ mercy currently as all the new movies can be telecast through our channel,” said M. Renjith, secretary of Film Producers Association.

G. Sureshkumar, president of the organisation, same several investors had already evinced interest within the projected channel.

A committee had been fashioned to figure out the modalities of the nonstop picture channel. Besides the association representatives, it might have producer-director Vinayan and producer-distributor Siyad Kokker as its members.



Mr. Vinayan same that the channel would finish the dominance enjoyed by recreation tv channels in South Dravidian. He same the producers would get the utmost returns from the sale of satellite rights with the launch of the new channel.
